Bilal bin Yaqtar says that a companion of the Prophet (peace be upon him) was appointed as the governor of Sijistan. Another companion met him and said, "Do you remember that once the Prophet (peace be upon him) appointed a man as the commander of an army? He kindled a strong fire at one place and ordered one of his companions to jump into it. He got up, ready to jump (but his companions stopped him). When the Prophet (peace be upon him) learned of this, he said, 'If he had jumped into the fire, both of them would have entered Hell. There is no obedience to the creation in disobedience to Allah.' I thought to remind you of this hadith."
