حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الصَّمَدِ ، وَحَدَّثَنَا حَسَنُ بْنُ مُوسَى ، وَحُسَيْنُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ ، قَالَا : حَدَّثَنَا شَيْبَانُ ، عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ أَبِي كَثِيرٍ ، عَنْ حَيَّةَ حَدَّثَهُ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ، أَنّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ : " لَا شَيْءَ فِي الْهَامِ ، وَالْعَيْنُ حَقٌّ ، وَأَصْدَقُ الطِّيَرِ الْفَأْلُ " .
Hiyyah Tamimi's father says that he heard the Prophet (peace be upon him) say: "There is no reality in anything being inside the skull of the dead; the evil eye is true, and the truest omen is a good omen."
