حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ بْنُ هَارُونَ ، أَخْبَرَنَا عَاصِمُ بْنُ هِلَالٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا غَاضِرَةُ بْنُ عُرْوَةَ الْفُقَيْمِيُّ ، حَدَّثَنِي أَبُو عُرْوَةَ ، قَالَ : كُنَّا نَنْتَظِرُ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، فَخَرَجَ رَجِلًا يَقْطُرُ رَأْسُهُ مِنْ وُضُوءٍ أَوْ غُسْلٍ ، فَصَلَّى ، فَلَمَّا قَضَى الصَّلَاةَ ، جَعَلَ النَّاسُ يَسْأَلُونَهُ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ، أَعَلَيْنَا حَرَجٌ فِي كَذَا ؟ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " لَا ، أَيُّهَا النَّاسُ ، إِنَّ دِينَ اللَّهِ فِي يُسْرٍ " ثَلَاثًا يَقُولُهَا ، وَقَالَ يَزِيدُ مَرَّةً : جَعَلَ النَّاسُ يَقُولُونَ : يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ، مَا نَقُولُ فِي كَذَا ؟ مَا نَقُولُ فِي كَذَا ؟.
It is narrated from Hazrat Urwah Faqimi that once we were waiting for the Prophet (peace be upon him). After a short while, the Prophet (peace be upon him) came out, and due to ablution or ghusl, drops of water were dripping from his blessed head. The Prophet (peace be upon him) offered prayer, and when he finished the prayer, people began to ask, "O Messenger of Allah, is there any hardship upon us in this matter?" The Prophet (peace be upon him) said, "O people, there is only ease, ease in the religion of Allah." He repeated this sentence three times.
