حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ ، أَخْبَرَنَا مَعْمَرٌ ، عَنْ غَيْرِ وَاحِدٍ منهم أيوب ، عَنِ ابْنِ سِيرِينَ ، أَنَّ زِيَادًا اسْتَعْمَلَ الْحَكَمَ بْنَ عَمْرٍو الْغِفَارِيَّ ، فَقَالَ عِمْرَانُ بْنُ حُصَيْنٍ وَدِدْتُ أَنِّي أَلْقَهُ قَبْلَ أَنْ يَخْرُجَ ، قَالَ : فَلَقِيَهُ ، فَقَالَ لَهُ عِمْرَانُ أَمَا عَلِمْتَ ، أَوَمَا سَمِعْتَ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ : " لَا طَاعَةَ لِأَحَدٍ فِي مَعْصِيَةِ اللَّهِ " ؟ قَالَ : بَلَى ، قَالَ : فَذَاكَ الَّذِي أَرَدْتُ أَنْ أَقُولَ لَكَ .
Ziyad appointed Hakam bin Amr Ghafari as the governor of Khurasan. Imran (may Allah be pleased with him) felt a desire to meet him, and he met him at the door of his house and said, "I wished to meet you. Did you hear the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) say that there is no obedience to any creature in disobedience to Allah?" Hakam replied, "Yes." Upon this, Imran said, "I only wanted to remind you of this hadith."
