Hadith 20615

حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ ، حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ ، عَنِ الْأَغَرِّ الْمِنْقَرِيِّ ، عَنْ خَلِيفَةَ بْنِ حُصَيْنِ بْنِ قَيْسِ بْنِ عَاصِمٍ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ أَنَّ جَدَّهُ أَسْلَمَ عَلَى عَهْدِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، " فَأَمَرَهُ أَنْ يَغْتَسِلَ بِمَاءٍ وَسِدْرٍ " .
It is narrated from Hazrat Qais bin Asim that when he accepted Islam, the Prophet (peace be upon him) instructed him to bathe with water and lote tree leaves and then come.
