حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو سَعِيدٍ مَوْلَى بَنِي هَاشِمٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا وُهَيْبٌ ، حَدَّثَنَا أَيُّوبُ ، عَنْ أَبِي قِلَابَةَ ، عَنْ قَبِيصَةَ الْهِلَالِيِّ ، قَالَ : انْكَسَفَتْ الشَّمْسُ عَلَى عَهْدِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، وَأَنَا يَوْمَئِذٍ مَعَهُ بِالْمَدِينَةِ ، فَذَكَرَ مَعْنَاهُ.
Abu Sa'id, the freedman of Banu Hashim, narrated to us; Wuhaib narrated to us; Ayyub narrated to us; from Abu Qilabah; from Qabisah al-Hilali, who said: The sun was eclipsed during the time of the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, and I was with him that day in al-Madinah, and he mentioned its meaning.
