Hadith 20602

It is narrated from Hazrat Qabeesah bin Mukhaariq that once I presented myself in the service of the Prophet (peace be upon him). The Prophet (peace be upon him) asked, "Qabeesah, what brings you here?" I submitted, "I have become old and my bones have become weak. I have come to you so that you may teach me something by which Allah will benefit me." The Prophet (peace be upon him) said, "O Qabeesah, every stone, tree, or clod of earth that you passed by on your way here has sought forgiveness for you. O Qabeesah, when you perform the Fajr prayer, say three times: 'Subhan Allahil Azeem wa bihamdihi.' You will be protected from blindness, leprosy, and paralysis. And Qabeesah, recite this supplication: 'O Allah, I ask You for that which is with You. Bestow Your grace upon me, expand Your mercy for me, and send down Your blessings upon me.'"
