حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْوَهَّابِ الْخَفَّافُ ، قَالَ : سُئِلَ سَعِيدٌ عَنِ الصَّلَاةِ فِي أَعْطَانِ الْإِبِلِ ؟ فَأَخْبَرَنَا ، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ ، عَنِ الْحَسَنِ بْنِ أَبِي الْحَسَنِ الْبَصْرِيِّ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ مُغَفَّلٍ ، أَنّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ : " إِذَا يَعْنِي أَدْرَكْتَ الصَّلَاةَ وَأَنْتَ فِي أَعْطَانِ الْإِبِلِ ، فَلَا تُصَلِّ ، وَإِذَا أَدْرَكَتْكَ فِي مَرَابِضِ الْغَنَمِ ، فَصَلِّ إِنْ شِئْتَ " .
It is narrated from Abdullah bin Mughaffal that the Prophet (peace be upon him) said: When the time for prayer comes and you are among a flock of goats, then perform the prayer; but if you are in a pen of camels, do not perform the prayer, because their creation is from Satan (there is devilishness in their nature).
