حَدَّثَنَا حَدَّثَنَا عَفَّانُ ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ ، عَنْ حُمَيْدِ بْنِ هِلَالٍ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ مُغَفَّلٍ ، قَالَ : كُنَّا مُحَاصِرِينَ قَصْرَ خَيْبَرَ ، فَأَلْقَى إِلَيْنَا رَجُلٌ جِرَابًا فِيهِ شَحْمٌ ، فَذَهَبْتُ آخُذُهُ ، فَرَأَيْتُ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، فَاسْتَحْيَيْتُ .
It is narrated from Abdullah bin Mughaffal that during the siege of Khaybar, I found a leather container in which there was fat. I picked it up and tucked it under my arm. Suddenly, I noticed that the Prophet (peace be upon him) was looking at me and smiling. At this, I felt ashamed.
