حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بَكْرٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا حُمَيْدُ بْنُ مِهْرَانَ الْكِنْدِيُّ ، حَدَّثَنِي سَعْدُ بْنُ أَوْسٍ ، عَنْ زِيَادِ بْنِ كُسَيْبٍ الْعَدَوِيِّ ، عَنْ أَبِي بَكْرَةَ ، قَالَ : سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ : " مَنْ أَكْرَمَ سُلْطَانَ اللَّهِ فِي الدُّنْيَا ، أَكْرَمَهُ اللَّهُ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ ، وَمَنْ أَهَانَ سُلْطَانَ اللَّهِ فِي الدُّنْيَا ، أَهَانَهُ اللَّهُ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ " .
It is narrated from Hazrat Abu Bakrah (may Allah be pleased with him) that I heard the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) say: Whoever honors the king appointed by Allah in this world, Allah will honor him on the Day of Resurrection, and whoever humiliates the king appointed by Allah in this world, Allah will disgrace him on the Day of Resurrection.
