حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو نُعَيْمٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا زُهَيْرُ بْنُ مُعَاوِيَةَ ، عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ زَيْدٍ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ أَبِي بَكْرَةَ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، قَالَ : سُئِلَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَيُّ النَّاسِ خَيْرٌ ؟ فَذَكَرَ مِثْلَهُ.
Narrated to us by Abu Nu'aym, narrated to us by Zuhayr ibn Mu'awiyah, from Ali ibn Zayd, from Abdur-Rahman ibn Abi Bakrah, from his father, who said: The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, was asked, "Which of the people is best?" So he mentioned the like of it.
