حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ ، أَخْبَرَنَا مَعْمَرٌ ، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ ، عَنِ الْحَسَنِ ، أَنَّ أَبَا بَكْرَةَ دَخَلَ الْمَسْجِدَ وَالْإِمَامُ رَاكِعٌ ، فَرَكَعَ قَبْلَ أَنْ يَصِلَ إِلَى الصَّفِّ ، فَقَالَ لَهُ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " زَادَكَ اللَّهُ حِرْصًا ، وَلَا تَعُدْ " ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ ، سَمِعْتُ هِشَامًا يُحَدِّثُ ، عَنِ الْحَسَنِ ، عَنْ أَبِي بَكْرَةَ ، مِثْلَهُ.
It is narrated from Hazrat Abu Bakrah (may Allah be pleased with him) that once he entered the mosque while the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) was in bowing (ruku‘). Before joining the row, he performed ruku‘. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said to him, "May Allah increase you in eagerness for the religion, but do not do this again."
