حَدَّثَنَا يَعْقُوبُ ، حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ أَخِي ابْنِ شِهَابٍ ، عَنْ عَمِّهِ ، أَخْبَرَنِي طَلْحَةُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَوْفٍ ، أَنَّ عِيَاضَ بْنَ مُسَافِعٍ حَدَّثَهُ ، أَنَّ أَبَا بَكْرَةَ أَخَا زِيَادٍ لِأُمِّهِ ، قَالَ أَبُو بَكْرَةَ : أَكْثَرَ النَّاسُ فِي شَأْنِ مُسَيْلِمَةَ ، فَذَكَرَ مِثْلَهُ.
Ya‘qub narrated to us, the nephew of Ibn Shihab narrated to us, from his uncle, Talhah ibn ‘Abd Allah ibn ‘Awf informed me, that ‘Iyad ibn Musafi‘ narrated to him, that Abu Bakrah, the maternal brother of Ziyad, said: Abu Bakrah said: The people spoke much concerning the matter of Musaylimah, and he mentioned the like of it.
