حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْمَلِكِ الْحَرَّانِيُّ ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرَةَ بَكَّارُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ بْنِ أَبِي بَكْرَةَ ، قَالَ : سَمِعْتُ أَبِي يُحَدِّثُ ، عَنْ أَبِي بَكْرَةَ ، أَنَّهُ شَهِدَ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَتَاهُ بَشِيرٌ يُبَشِّرُهُ بِظَفَرِ جُنْدٍ لَهُ عَلَى عَدُوِّهِمْ ، وَرَأْسُهُ فِي حِجْرِ عَائِشَةَ ، فَقَامَ فَخَرَّ سَاجِدًا ، ثُمَّ أَنْشَأَ يُسَائِلُ الْبَشِيرَ ، فَأَخْبَرَهُ فِيمَا أَخْبَرَهُ أَنَّهُ وَلِيَ أَمْرَهُمِ امْرَأَةٌ ، فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " الْآنَ هَلَكَتِ الرِّجَالُ إِذَا أَطَاعَتِ النِّسَاءَ ، هَلَكَتِ الرِّجَالُ إِذَا أَطَاعَتِ النِّسَاءَ " ثَلَاثًا .
It is narrated from Hazrat Abu Bakrah (may Allah be pleased with him) that once he was present in the service of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) when a man came and gave the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) the good news of his army's victory over the enemy. At that time, the blessed head of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) was in the lap of Hazrat Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her). Upon hearing this good news, the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) fell into prostration, and then began to ask the bearer of good news various questions. Among the things he told was that the enemy had appointed a woman as their ruler. Upon hearing this, the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said three times: "Now men have fallen into destruction when they began to follow women."
