It is narrated from Hazrat Ma'qil bin Yasar (may Allah be pleased with him) that once I assisted the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) in performing ablution. After ablution, the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said, "Will you go with me to visit Fatimah to inquire about her health?" I replied, "Yes, certainly." The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) leaned on me and stood up and said, "Soon, someone other than you will bear this burden, and you too will receive reward." The narrator says, "It felt to me as if there was nothing upon me until we reached the house of Hazrat Fatimah." The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) asked her, "How are you?" She said, "By Allah, my grief has increased, my hunger has become severe, and my illness has prolonged." Abdullah bin Ahmad says, "I found in my father's book, in his handwriting, after this hadith, this addition: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said, 'Are you not pleased that I have married you to the one from my Ummah who is foremost in accepting Islam, greatest in knowledge, and most magnificent in forbearance?'"
