حَدَّثَنَا سُرَيْجُ بْنُ النُّعْمَانِ ، حَدَّثَنَا بَقِيَّةُ ، عَنْ إِسْحَاقَ بْنِ ثَعْلَبَةَ ، عَنْ مَكْحُولٍ ، عَنْ سَمُرَةَ بْنِ جُنْدُبٍ ، قَالَ : أَمَرَنَا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَنْ نَتَّخِذَ الْمَسَاجِدَ فِي دِيَارِنَا ، وَأَمَرَنَا أَنْ نُنَظِّفَهَا .
It is narrated from Hazrat Samurah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) commanded us to build mosques in our localities and to keep them clean and pure.
