وَمِنْ حَدِيثِ سَمُرَةَ بْنِ جُنْدُبٍ عَنْ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَAnd from the hadith of Samurah ibn Jundub about the Prophet (peace be upon him)

حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الْمَلِكِ بْنِ عُمَيْرٍ ، عَنْ حُصَيْنِ بْنِ أَبِي الْحُرِّ ، عَنْ سَمُرَةَ ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ : " مِنْ خَيْرِ مَا تَدَاوَى بِهِ النَّاسُ الْحَجْمَ " .
It is narrated from Hazrat Samurah bin Jundub (may Allah be pleased with him) that once the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: The best method of treatment with which people treat themselves is cupping.
