حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ ، حَدَّثَنَا هَمَّامٌ ، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ ، عَنْ قُدَامَةَ بْنِ وَبَرَةَ ، عَنْ سَمُرَةَ بْنِ جُنْدُبٍ , قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " مَنْ فَاتَتْهُ الْجُمُعَةُ ، فَلْيَتَصَدَّقْ بِدِينَارٍ ، أَوْ بِنِصْفِ دِينَارٍ " .
It is narrated from Hazrat Samurah bin Jundub (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Whoever misses a Friday (prayer) without excuse should give one dinar in charity; if he cannot find one dinar, then he should give half a dinar in charity.
