وَمِنْ حَدِيثِ سَمُرَةَ بْنِ جُنْدُبٍ عَنْ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَAnd from the hadith of Samurah ibn Jundub about the Prophet (peace be upon him)
Hadith 20146

حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو مُعَاوِيَةَ ، عَنْ حَجَّاجٍ ، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ عُبَيْدِ بْنِ زَيْدِ بْنِ عُقْبَةَ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ , عَنْ سَمُرَةَ ، قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " إِذَا سُرِقَ مِنَ الرَّجُلِ مَتَاعٌ ، أَوْ ضَاعَ لَهُ مَتَاعٌ ، فَوَجَدَهُ بِيَدِ رَجُلٍ بِعَيْنِهِ ، فَهُوَ أَحَقُّ بِهِ ، وَيَرْجِعُ الْمُشْتَرِي عَلَى الْبَائِعِ بِالثَّمَنِ " .
It is narrated from Hazrat Samurah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: If a person's property is stolen or lost, or he sees his exact property with someone, then he has a greater right to it, and the buyer (purchaser) will take his price from the seller (vendor).
