وَمِنْ حَدِيثِ سَمُرَةَ بْنِ جُنْدُبٍ عَنْ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَAnd from the hadith of Samurah ibn Jundub about the Prophet (peace be upon him)
Hadith 20124

حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ ، عَنْ إِسْمَاعِيلَ يَعْنِي ابْنَ أَبِي خَالِدٍ ، قَالَ : سَمِعْتُ الشَّعْبِيَّ يُحَدِّثُ , عَنْ سَمُرَةَ بْنِ جُنْدُبٍ ، قَالَ : صَلَّى النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ الصُّبْحَ , فَقَالَ : " هَاهُنَا أَحَدٌ مِنْ بَنِي فُلَانٍ ؟ " قَالُوا : نَعَمْ , قَالَ : " إِنَّ صَاحِبَكُمْ مُحْتَبَسٌ عَلَى بَابِ الْجَنَّةِ فِي دَيْنٍ عَلَيْهِ " .
It is narrated from Hazrat Samurah (may Allah be pleased with him) that once the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) led the Fajr prayer, and after the prayer he said, "Is there anyone here from such-and-such tribe?" They replied, "Yes! (We are present)." The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said, "Your companion (who has passed away) has been held back at the gate of Paradise because of a debt he owed, so pay off his debt."
