وَمِنْ حَدِيثِ سَمُرَةَ بْنِ جُنْدُبٍ عَنْ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَAnd from the hadith of Samurah ibn Jundub about the Prophet (peace be upon him)

حَدَّثَنَا عَفَّانُ ، حَدَّثَنَا وُهَيْبٌ , وَيَزِيدُ بْنُ زُرَيْعٍ , قَالَا : حَدَّثَنَا دَاوُدُ ، عَنْ أَبِي قَزَعَةَ ، عَنِ الْأَسْقَعِ بْنِ الْأَسْلَعِ ، عَنْ سَمُرَةَ بْنِ جُنْدُبٍ ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ : " مَا أَسْفَلَ مِنَ الْكَعْبَيْنِ مِنَ الْإِزَارِ فِي النَّارِ " .
It is narrated from Hazrat Samurah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: The part of the lower garment which hangs below the ankles will burn in the fire of Hell.
