وَمِنْ حَدِيثِ سَمُرَةَ بْنِ جُنْدُبٍ عَنْ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَAnd from the hadith of Samurah ibn Jundub about the Prophet (peace be upon him)

حَدَّثَنَا بَهْزٌ ، حَدَّثَنَا هَمَّامٌ وَيَزِيدُ ، أخبرنا همام وحدثنا عَفَّانُ ، حَدَّثَنَا هَمَّامٌ , حَدَّثَنَا قَتَادَةُ ، حَدَّثَنِي قُدَامَةُ بْنُ وَبَرَةَ رَجُلٌ مِنْ بَنِي عُجَيْفٍ ، عَنْ سَمُرَةَ بْنِ جُنْدُبٍ ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ : " مَنْ تَرَكَ جُمُعَةً فِي غَيْرِ عُذْرٍ ، فَلْيَتَصَدَّقْ بِدِينَارٍ ، فَإِنْ لَمْ يَجِدْ ، فَنِصْفُ دِينَارٍ " .
It is narrated from Hazrat Samurah bin Jundub (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Whoever misses a Friday (prayer) without excuse, he should give one dinar in charity; if he cannot find one dinar, then he should give half a dinar in charity.
