وَقَالَ : " مَا مِنْ مَوْلًى يَأْتِي مَوْلًى لَهُ ، فَيَسْأَلُهُ مِنْ فَضْلٍ عِنْدَهُ فَيَمْنَعُهُ ، إِلَّا جَعَلَهُ اللَّهُ تَعَالَى عَلَيْهِ شُجَاعًا يَنْهَسُهُ قَبْلَ الْقَضَاءِ " , قَالَ عَفَّانُ : يَعْنِي بِالْمَوْلَى ابْنَ عَمِّهِ . .
And he said: "There is no mawla who comes to his mawla and asks him for some favor that he has, and he withholds it from him, except that Allah, the Exalted, will make for him a serpent that will bite him before the judgment." ‘Affan said: He means by mawla his cousin. .
