حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ ، أَخْبَرَنَا مَعْمَرٌ ، عَنْ بَهْزِ بْنِ حَكِيمٍ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، عَنْ جَدِّهِ ، قَالَ : سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ : " وَيْلٌ لِلَّذِي يُحَدِّثُ الْقَوْمَ ، ثُمَّ يَكْذِبُ لِيُضْحِكَهُمْ ، وَيْلٌ لَهُ ، وَوَيْلٌ لَهُ " .
It is narrated from Hazrat Muawiyah Bahzi (may Allah be pleased with him) that I heard the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) say: "Woe to the person who tells lies to make people laugh. Woe to him, woe to him."
