Hadith 20006

حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الصَّمَدِ ، حَدَّثَنَا مَهْدِيٌّ ، حَدَّثَنَا غَيْلَانُ ، عَنْ مُطَرِّفٍ ، عَنْ عِمْرَانَ بْنِ حُصَيْنٍ : أَنّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ سَأَلَهُ أَوْ سَأَلَ رَجُلًا وَهُوَ شَاهِدٌ : " هَلْ صُمْتَ مِنْ سُرَرِ هَذَا الشَّهْرِ شَيْئًا ؟ " قَالَ : لَا , قَالَ : " فَإِذَا أَفْطَرْتَ فَصُمْ يَوْمَيْنِ " .
It is narrated from Hazrat Imran (may Allah be pleased with him) that once the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) asked someone, "Have you kept any fast at the end of this month of Sha'ban?" He replied, "No." The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said, "When the fasts of Ramadan are completed, then keep two fasts."
