It is narrated from Hazrat Imran bin Husain (may Allah be pleased with him) that a Muslim woman was captured by the enemy. Previously, those people had also stolen the she-camel of the Prophet (peace be upon him). One day, when the woman saw the people were heedless, she quietly mounted the Prophet’s (peace be upon him) she-camel and made a vow that if she reached Madinah safely, she would slaughter this she-camel. In any case, she reached Madinah Munawwarah and wanted to slaughter the Prophet’s (peace be upon him) she-camel, but the people stopped her from doing so and mentioned it to the Prophet (peace be upon him). The Prophet (peace be upon him) said, “You have given it a bad reward.” Then he said, “There is no vow in that which the son of Adam does not own, and there is no vow in disobedience to Allah.”
