It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with him) that when the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) departed from Arafat, Sayyiduna Usama bin Zaid (may Allah be pleased with him) was seated behind him. The she-camel kept circling with the Prophet (peace be upon him). Before departing, the Prophet (peace be upon him) stood in Arafat with his hands raised, but the height of his hands did not exceed his head. When the Prophet (peace be upon him) departed from there, he reached Muzdalifah with calmness and dignity. And when he departed from Muzdalifah, Sayyiduna Fadl (may Allah be pleased with him) was riding behind the Prophet (peace be upon him). He says that the Prophet (peace be upon him) continued to recite the Talbiyah until the stoning of Jamrah Aqabah.
