Hadith 19850

حَدَّثَنَا بَهْزٌ , وَحَدَّثَنَا عَفَّانُ الْمَعْنَى ، قَالَا : ثَنَا هَمَّامٌ ، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ ، عَنْ مُطَرِّفٍ ، قَالَ : قَالَ عِمْرَانُ بْنُ حُصَيْنٍ : تَمَتَّعْنَا مَعَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، وَأُنْزِلَ فِيهَا الْقُرْآنُ , قَالَ عَفَّانُ : وَنَزَلَ فِيهِ الْقُرْآنُ فَمَاتَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَلَمْ يَنْهَ عَنْهَا ، وَلَمْ يَنْسَخْهَا شَيْءٌ ، قَالَ رَجُلٌ بِرَأْيِهِ مَا شَاءَ " .
And remember! The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) combined Hajj and Umrah in one journey, then he did not prohibit it until his passing: nor was any command regarding its prohibition revealed in the Qur'an, so whoever says anything about it now, says so from his own opinion.
