حَدَّثَنَا بَهْزٌ ، حَدَّثَنَا هَمَّامٌ ، حَدَّثَنَا قَتَادَةُ ، حَدَّثَنَا الْحَسَنُ ، عَنْ عِمْرَانَ بْنِ حُصَيْنٍ : أَنَّ رَجُلًا أَتَى رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَقَالَ : إِنَّ ابنَ ابْنِي مَاتَ فَمَا لِي مِنْ مِيرَاثِهِ ؟ قَالَ : " لَكَ السُّدُسُ " قَالَ : فَلَمَّا أَدْبَرَ دَعَاهُ ، قَالَ : " لَكَ سُدُسٌ آخَرُ " قَالَ : فَلَمَّا أَدْبَرَ دَعَاهُ ، قَالَ : " إِنَّ السُّدُسَ الْآخَرَ طُعْمَةٌ " .
It is narrated from Hazrat Imran bin Husain (may Allah be pleased with him) that a man came to the service of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) and said, "My grandson has passed away; what will I receive from his inheritance?" The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said, "You will receive one-sixth." When he was about to leave, the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) called him back and said, "You will receive one more sixth." When he was about to leave again, the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) called him back and said, "This second sixth is an extra morsel for you."
