حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدٌ ، عَنْ غَيْلَانَ بْنِ جَرِيرٍ . وَعَبْدُ الْوَهَّابِ ، عَنِ صَاحِبٍ لَهُ ، عَنْ غَيْلَانَ بْنِ جَرِيرٍ ، عَنْ مُطَرِّفِ بْنِ الشِّخِّيرِ , أَنَّهُ قَالَ : " كُنْتُ مَعَ عِمْرَانَ بْنِ حُصَيْنٍ بِالْكُوفَةِ ، فَصَلَّى بِنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ أَبِي طَالِبٍ ، فَجَعَلَ يُكَبِّرُ كُلَّمَا سَجَدَ ، وَكُلَّمَا رَفَعَ رَأْسَهُ ، فَلَمَّا فَرَغَ قَالَ عِمْرَانُ : صَلَّى بِنَا هَذَا مِثْلَ صَلَاةِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ " .
Mutarrif bin Shukhair says that I was with Hazrat Imran bin Husain (may Allah be pleased with him) in Kufa, when Hazrat Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) led us in prayer. He would say Allahu Akbar every time he went into and rose from prostration. When the prayer was finished, Hazrat Imran (may Allah be pleased with him) said: He has led us in prayer just like the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) used to pray.
