حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ ، عَنْ أَبِي التَّيَّاحِ ، قَالَ : سَمِعْتُ مُطَرِّفًا يُحَدِّثُ : أَنَّهُ كَانَتْ لَهُ امْرَأَتَانِ ، فَجَاءَ إِلَى إِحْدَاهُمَا , قَالَ : فَجَعَلَتْ تَنْزِعُ بِهِ عِمَامَتَهُ ، وَقَالَتْ : جِئْتَ مِنْ عِنْدِ امْرَأَتِكَ ! قَالَ : جِئْتُ مِنْ عِنْدِ عِمْرَانَ بْنِ حُصَيْنٍ ، فَحَدَّثَ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَحْسَبُ أَنَّهُ قَالَ : " إِنَّ أَقَلَّ سَاكِنِي الْجَنَّةِ النِّسَاءُ " .
Mutarrif says that he had two wives. Once, when he came to one of his wives, she started to remove his turban and asked, "Are you coming from your other wife?" He replied, "I am coming from Imran bin Husain (may Allah be pleased with him), and he narrated this hadith to me: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said, 'The least residents of Paradise will be women.'"
