Hadith 19833

Mutarrif says that once Imran bin Husain (may Allah be pleased with him) said to me, "I will narrate to you a hadith, perhaps Allah will benefit you through it, and it is this: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) combined Hajj and Umrah in one journey, then he did not prohibit it until his passing, nor was any command regarding its prohibition revealed in the Qur'an. And the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) used to greet me first; when I underwent treatment through cauterization, the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) stopped (greeting me), then when I abandoned that practice, the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) started greeting me again."
