Hadith 19820

حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ ، حَدَّثَنَا الْأَعْمَشُ ، حَدَّثَنَا هِلَالُ بْنُ يَسَافٍ ، عَنْ عِمْرَانَ بْنِ حُصَيْنٍ ، قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " خَيْرُ النَّاسِ قَرْنِي ، ثُمَّ الَّذِينَ يَلُونَهُمْ ، ثُمَّ الَّذِينَ يَلُونَهُمْ ، ثُمَّ يَجِيءُ قَوْمٌ يَتَسَمَّنُونَ يُحِبُّونَ السِّمَنَ ، يُعْطُونَ الشَّهَادَةَ قَبْلَ أَنْ يُسْأَلُوهَا " .
It is narrated from Hazrat Imran bin Husain (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "The best era is my era, then those who come after them, and then those who come after them. Then there will come a people whose individuals will be stout and will like obesity, and they will be ready to give testimony before being asked."
