حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ ، حَدَّثَنَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ طَهْمَانَ ، عَنْ حُسَيْنٍ الْمُعَلِّمِ ، عَنِ ابْنِ بُرَيْدَةَ ، عَنْ عِمْرَانَ بْنِ حُصَيْنٍ ، قَالَ : كَانَ بِي النَّاصُورُ ، فَسَأَلْتُ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَنِ الصَّلَاةِ ، فَقَالَ : " صَلِّ قَائِمًا ، فَإِنْ لَمْ تَسْتَطِعْ فَقَاعِدًا ، فَإِنْ لَمْ تَسْتَطِعْ فَعَلَى جَنْبٍ " .
It is narrated from Hazrat Imran bin Husain (may Allah be pleased with him): I was suffering from hemorrhoids, so I asked the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) about prayer. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Pray standing; if you are not able to, then pray sitting; and if you are not able to do even that, then pray lying on your side.
