Hadith 19813

حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو كَامِلٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ زَيْدٍ ، عَنْ جَمِيلِ بْنِ مُرَّةَ ، عَنْ أَبِي الْوَضِيءِ ، قَالَ : كُنَّا فِي سَفَرٍ وَمَعَنَا أَبُو بَرْزَةَ ، فَقَالَ أَبُو بَرْزَةَ , إِنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ : " الْبَيِّعَانِ بِالْخِيَارِ مَا لَمْ يَتَفَرَّقَا " .
Abu Al-Wada'i says that once we were on a journey, and Hazrat Abu Barzah (may Allah be pleased with him) was with us. He said that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: The seller and the buyer (the one who sells and the one who buys) have the option (to cancel the sale) as long as they do not separate from each other.
