Hadith 19802

حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو سَعِيدٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا شَدَّادٌ أَبُو طَلْحَةَ ، قال : حَدَّثَنَا جَابِرُ بْنُ عَمْرٍو أَبُو الْوَازِعِ ، عَنْ أَبِي بَرْزَةَ ، قَالَ : قُلْتُ : يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ، مُرْنِي بِعَمَلٍ أَعْمَلُهُ , قَالَ : " أَمِطْ الْأَذَى عَنِ الطَّرِيقِ ، فَهُوَ لَكَ صَدَقَةٌ " .
It is narrated from Hazrat Abu Barzah Aslami (may Allah be pleased with him) that I myself asked the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), "O Messenger of Allah! Tell me of a deed which I may continue to do." The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said, "Remove harmful things from the path, for this is charity for you."
