حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا عَوْفٌ ، عَنْ مُسَاوِرِ بْنِ عُبَيْدٍ ، قَالَ : أَتَيْتُ أَبَا بَرْزَةَ ، فَقُلْتُ : " هَلْ رَجَمَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ؟ فَقَالَ : نَعَمْ " ، رَجُلًا مِنَّا يُقَالُ لَهُ : مَاعِزُ بْنُ مَالِكٍ , قَالَ رَوْحٌ : مُسَاوِرُ بْنُ عُبَيْدٍ الْحِمَّانِيُّ.
Maswar bin Ubaid, may Allah have mercy on him, says that once I came to Hazrat Abu Barzah, may Allah be pleased with him, and asked him, "Did the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, ever give the punishment of stoning to anyone?" He replied, "Yes! One man among us received this punishment, whose name was Ma'iz bin Malik."
