It is narrated from Hazrat Abu Barzah Aslami (may Allah be pleased with him) that once the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) was engaged in a battle. When the battle ended, he asked the people, "Do you find anyone missing?" The people said, "O Messenger of Allah! Such and such people are not found among us." The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said, "But I find Julaibib missing. Search for him." The people searched for him and found him near seven men. Hazrat Julaibib (may Allah be pleased with him) had killed all seven of them and was later martyred himself. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) came and stood by him and said, "He has killed seven men, and then the polytheists martyred him. He is from me and I am from him." He repeated these words twice. Then, when he was lifted before the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) lifted him with his own arms, and until the burial, the Prophet's two arms served as his funeral bier. The narrator did not mention the ritual washing (ghusl).
