Hadith 19774

حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ مَهْدِيٍّ ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ ، عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ زَيْدٍ ، عَنِ الْمُغِيرَةِ بْنِ أَبِي بَرْزَةَ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " أَسْلَمُ سَالَمَهَا اللَّهُ ، وَغِفَارٌ غَفَرَ اللَّهُ لَهَا " ، مَا أَنَا قُلْتُهُ وَلَكِنَّ اللَّهَ قَالَهُ.
It is narrated from Hazrat Abu Barzah Aslami (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: May Allah keep the tribe of Aslam safe, and may He forgive the tribe of Ghifar. I am not saying this myself, rather Allah Almighty has said this.
