Abu Mujliz (may Allah have mercy on him) says that once Hazrat Abu Musa (may Allah be pleased with him) was traveling from Makkah Mukarramah to Madinah Munawwarah. On the way, he led his companions in prayer. He led them in two rak‘ahs of ‘Isha and then ended the prayer with salam. Then he stood up and in one rak‘ah recited one hundred verses from Surah An-Nisa. Someone objected to this, so he said: "I have not fallen short in anything where the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) placed his foot, I also place my foot there, and the way the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) did, I also do the same."
