It is narrated from Hazrat Abu Musa (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) sent him and Hazrat Mu'adh (may Allah be pleased with him) to Yemen and said: Give glad tidings, do not spread aversion, make things easy, do not create difficulties, obey one another, and do not differ among yourselves. It is narrated from Hazrat Abu Musa (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) sent me towards Yemen. I submitted, "O Messenger of Allah! (peace and blessings be upon him) There are some drinks prevalent there, for example, there is a barley-based nabidh called 'mizr' and a honey-based nabidh called 'tuba'." The Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Every intoxicating thing is forbidden."
