حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو أَحْمَدَ يَعْنِي الزُّبَيْرِيَّ ، قال : حَدَّثَنَا إِسْرَائِيلُ ، عَن أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ ، عَن أَبِي بُرْدَةَ ، قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، فَذَكَرَ مَعْنَاهُ ، وَلَمْ يُسْنِدْهُ.
Abu Ahmad, meaning al-Zubayri, narrated to us, he said: Isra'il narrated to us, from Abu Ishaq, from Abu Burdah, who said: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said — then he mentioned its meaning, but did not attribute it directly.
