حَدَّثَنَا حُسَيْنُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا إِسْرَائِيلُ ، عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ ، عَن أَبِي بُرْدَةَ ، عَن أَبِي مُوسَى ، قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " أُعْطِيتُ خَمْسًا : بُعِثْتُ إِلَى الْأَحْمَرِ وَالْأَسْوَدِ ، وَجُعِلَتْ لِي الْأَرْضُ طَهُورًا وَمَسْجِدًا ، وَأُحِلَّتْ لِي الْغَنَائِمُ ، وَلَمْ تُحَلَّ لِمَنْ كَانَ قَبْلِي ، وَنُصِرْتُ بِالرُّعْبِ شَهْرًا ، وَأُعْطِيتُ الشَّفَاعَةَ ، وَلَيْسَ مِنْ نَبِيٍّ إِلَّا وَقَدْ سَأَلَ شَفَاعَةً ، وَإِنِّي اخْتَبَأَتْ شَفَاعَتِي ، ثُمَّ جَعَلْتُهَا لِمَنْ مَاتَ مِنْ أُمَّتِي ، لَمْ يُشْرِكْ بِاللَّهِ شَيْئًا " . .
It is narrated from Hazrat Abu Musa (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: I have been granted five such characteristics which were not given to any prophet before me: I have been sent to every red and black (i.e., to all mankind), the entire earth has been made a means of purification and a mosque for me, spoils of war have been made lawful for me, which were not lawful for anyone before me, I have been helped by awe (instilled in the hearts of the enemy) from a distance of one month's journey, and I have been granted the right of intercession. There is no prophet who did not ask for intercession for himself, but I have reserved my right of intercession and kept it for every member of my Ummah who dies without associating anyone with Allah. The previous hadith is also narrated through this second chain.
