حَدَّثَنَا سُلَيْمَانُ بْنُ دَاوُدَ ، قال : أَخْبَرَنَا عِمْرَانُ ، عَن قَتَادَةَ ، عَن أَبِي بُرْدَةَ ، عَن أَبِي مُوسَى ، أَنّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ كَانَ إِذَا خَافَ مِنْ رَجُلٍ ، أَوْ مِنْ قَوْمٍ ، قَالَ : " اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَجْعَلُكَ فِي نُحُورِهِمْ ، وَأَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ شُرُورِهِمْ " .
It is narrated from Hazrat Abu Musa (may Allah be pleased with him) that when the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) felt fear from any person or nation, he would supplicate: O Allah! I place You before their chests and I seek refuge in You from their evil.
