حَدَّثَنَا مَرْوَانُ بْنُ مُعَاوِيَةَ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا ثَابِتُ بْنُ عُمَارَةَ ، عَن غُنَيْمِ ابْنِ قَيْسٍ ، عَن الْأَشْعَرِيِّ ، قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " أَيُّمَا امْرَأَةٍ اسْتَعْطَرَتْ ، فَمَرَّتْ بِقَوْمٍ لِيَجِدُوا رِيحَهَا ، فَهِيَ زَانِيَةٌ " .
It is narrated from Hazrat Abu Musa (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: When a woman applies perfume and passes by some people so that they may smell her fragrance, then she is such and such (an adulteress).
