حَدَّثَنَا بَكْرُ بْنُ عِيسَى ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو عَوَانَةَ ، عَن أَبِي بَلْجٍ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَاهُ أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي مُوسَى الْأَشْعَرِيُّ ، عَن أَبِيهِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ قَيْسٍ ، أَنّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ذَكَرَ الطَّاعُونَ ، فَقَالَ : " وَخْزٌ مِنْ أَعْدَائِكُمْ مِنَ الْجِنِّ ، وَهِيَ شَهَادَةُ الْمُسْلِمِ " .
It is narrated from Hazrat Abu Musa (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: My Ummah will perish due to "ta‘n" and "ta‘oon". Explaining the meaning of ta‘oon, the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: It is the stings of your enemy jinn, and in both cases there is martyrdom.
