حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عُبَيْدٍ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا بُرَيْدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ أَبِي بُرْدَةَ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، عَنْ أَبِي مُوسَى ، قَالَ : جَاءَ سَائِلٌ إِلَى النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " اشْفَعُوا فَلْتُؤْجَرُوا ، وَلْيَقْضِ اللَّهُ عَلَى لِسَانِ نَبِيِّهِ مَا شَاءَ " .
It is narrated from Hazrat Abu Musa Ash'ari (may Allah be pleased with him) that once we were sitting with the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) when a man asked for something. The Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Intercede for him, you will be rewarded, and Allah will decree what He wills upon the tongue of His Prophet.
