حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ مُؤَمَّلٌ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادٌ يَعْنِي ابْنَ سَلَمَةَ ، حَدَّثَنَا عَاصِمٌ ، عَن أَبِي وَائِلٍ ، عَن أَبِي مُوسَى ، قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " اللَّهُمَّ اجْعَلْ عُبَيْدًا أَبَا عَامِرٍ فَوْقَ أَكْثَرِ النَّاسِ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ " ، قَالَ : فَقُتِلَ عُبَيْدٌ يَوْمَ أَوْطَاسٍ ، وَقَتَلَ أَبُو مُوسَى قَاتِلَ عُبَيْدٍ ، قَالَ : قَالَ أَبُو وَائِلٍ : أَرْجُو أَنْ لَا يَجْمَعَ اللَّهُ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ بَيْنَ قَاتِلِ عُبَيْدٍ ، وَبَيْنَ أَبِي مُوسَى فِي النَّارِ.
It is narrated from Hazrat Abu Musa (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: O Allah! Grant Ubaid Abu Amir superiority over many people on the Day of Resurrection. Ubaid (may Allah be pleased with him) was martyred on the occasion of the Battle of Autas, and Hazrat Abu Musa (may Allah be pleased with him) killed his killer. Abu Wa'il says: I hope that Allah Almighty will not gather Ubaid's killer and Hazrat Abu Musa (may Allah be pleased with him) together in Hell on the Day of Resurrection.
