حَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ عِيسَى ، حَدَّثَنَا حَفْصُ بْنُ غِيَاثٍ ، عَن بُرَيْدِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ أَبِي بُرْدَةَ ، عَن أَبِيهِ ، عَن جَدِّهِ أَبِي مُوسَى الْأَشْعَرِيِّ ، قَالَ : قَدِمْتُ عَلَى رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فِي نَاسٍ مِنْ قَوْمِي ، بَعْدَ مَا فَتَحَ خَيْبَرَ بِثَلَاثٍ ، فَأَسْهَمَ لَنَا ، وَلَمْ يَقْسِمْ لِأَحَدٍ لَمْ يَشْهَدْ الْفَتْحَ غَيْرِنَا .
It is narrated from Hazrat Abu Musa (may Allah be pleased with him) that I, along with some people from my tribe, presented ourselves before the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) at a time when only three days had passed since the conquest of Khaybar. The Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) gave us a share from it, and apart from us, he did not give a share of the spoils of war to anyone who had not participated in that battle.
