حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو مُعَاوِيَةَ ، حَدَّثَنَا الْأَعْمَشُ ، عَن إِبْرَاهِيمَ ، عَن سَهْمِ ابْنِ مِنْجَابٍ ، عَن الْقَرْثَعِ ، قَالَ : لَمَّا ثَقُلَ أَبُو مُوسَى الْأَشْعَرِيُّ صَاحَتْ امْرَأَتُهُ ، فَقَالَ لَهَا : أَمَا عَلِمْتِ مَا قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ؟ قَالَتْ : بَلَى ، ثُمَّ سَكَتَتْ ، فَلَمَّا مَاتَ ، قِيل لَهَا : أَيُّ شَيْءٍ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ؟ قَالَتْ : قَالَ : إِنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " لَعَنَ مَنْ حَلَقَ ، أَوْ خَرَقَ ، أَوْ سَلَقَ " .
It is narrated from Hazrat Abu Musa (may Allah be pleased with him) that he fell unconscious and his wife began to weep. When he regained consciousness, he said, "Do you not know what the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said?" She replied, "Why not," and then she became silent. After his passing, someone asked her, "What did the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) say?" She replied, "The Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: 'May the curse be upon the one who wails loudly, pulls her hair, and tears her collar.'"
